I have a paypal form that uses all of the cool client side functionality to create totals and such. However, in the reciept email that I send .. I want to pass in the option text of the selected radio button not the value. The value is simply a dollar value number used for calculations. I need the name of the option it relates too. Is there something like $(myRadio_OptionText) that I can use? Or another way? Seems like it should be a simple thing.

I'm trying to create a form where simply adding a new radio option text/value (product name/price) can be done easily and not requiring any additional code per option.

    Thanks

    Hi Kellyo,
It would be good to look at demo 20 on how to handle client side events to get the value of the option text. Go to this link and check out the demo:
    http://www.datasprings.com/products...nstrations

You will find info for radio buttons, textboxs, html, and combo boxes in the demo.
    Thanks

    Hi Kelly,

You're close. Actually, you can use $(Radio_Text) in your email events and it should show the "option text" and not the "option value."

    Thanks!
