I need to build a form that generates a unique reference code when it is submitted.

The form to be used by people who want to make a donation to a charity via online banking. I need to give the form submitter a unique code, like an invoice ID, they they then insert into the reference field when they make the payment through their online bank facilities.

We can then match the code up with the form submission afterwards and this lets us send people their tax receipts.

Assuming there is nothing in Dynamic Forms that can already do this, I'm wondering if it might be possible to query the database for an ID number that is being generated for another purpose. Like maybe upon each form submission there's a unique ID, and I could use that?

I've had a look in the db and can really only see the UniqueResponseID column, but that's a littel too complex... unless someone knows how to trim just a few characters off it? (Not an sql pro here)
