    Hi,
I was able to set up a form, produce a pdf on submit and send it via email to the submitter and some cc'd addresses without issue. I particularly like the fact I could use HTML to format the PDF so I could send them a 4 x 5 card like registration with their information already filled in.

I am not a coder, I am a web designer. So hence the question here.
The pdf produced has a default name of [completion event name][random numbers].pdf. How do I get that name to be just the completion event name? I realize the random numbers are so the pdf's can be individual and not overwrite each other. Is there a way to write another completion event to delete the numbers out of the name string before attaching to the email?

This isn't stopping me from using it, I just want the pdf to look more professional.

    Thanks in advance!

    Tracelyn

    Hello Tracelyn,

Unfortunately this would require a source code modification to reformat the name of the generated form completion PDF event.

Without source code modification you would need to monitor the PDF generated and manually rename it. It should reside somewhere in Admin -> File Manager in a folder with a Prefix of" DynamicForms_". It may be DynamicForms_Uploads.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

Since sending the email right after registration is the key, manually renaming the pdf is out of the question. I don't have the source code.

I will deal with it as is. Thanks.

    Hello Tracelyn,

I apologize that this functionality isn't available within Dynamic Forms, however let us know if you ever have any questions.

Thanks and I hope you have a wonderful day.
