I have implemented a CSS linkbutton as suggested in demo #36. But the code also generates a small box next to the button. This bug can also be seen in the demo below:

How do I get rid of this small box (to the right of the linkbutton)?

Hello Pontus,

This small box to the right of the Submit button belongs to the Clear Button section.

This is occurring because the Submit and Clear buttons share the same CSS class "DynamicForms_Link".

So you can perform one of the following to remove this behavior:

1.) Change the CSS class associated with the Clear Button, or make this an HTML button and the CSS class should be changed.
2.) Use JavaScript to hide the clear button.

This is an example:

document.getElementById('dnn_ctr2287_DynamicForms_lnkClear').style.display = 'none';

You would apply this JavaScript under Module Configuration -> Advanced Coding Options -> Custom JavaScript file -> Initial JavaScript.

Thanks! I got the JavaScript code to work after some experimenting. You forgot to mention that the value for ctr2287 changes.

So the instruction should be:

document.getElementById('dnn_ctrXXX_DynamicForms_lnkClear').style.display = 'none';

Change XXX to the correct value

Tip: Use Firebug for Firefox to see inspect the Clear Button and see the value for XXX
