Is there a way to setup and configure a custom payment gateway?  The service that we'll be using is not included in the list within the module.

Yes, if you get the source code, you can customize it to add a payment gateway. However, when you make changes to the source code, we will no longer be able to support the module for you.

In most cases, customers choose to have us do the customization to integrate a new payment gateway. If you want us to do this, please use the Contact form and send us details so we can provide you with an estimate.

Thanks Candace, email has just been sent. Just curious ... what is the main difference between having a payment gateway setup and using the silent post functionality? Don't they kind of do the same thing to a degree?

Is the difference in that the payment gateway handles parsing of the response as well whereas with the silent post we would be responsible for parsing that?

Mostly the difference lies in how they feed the response back to the form (approved, denied, etc.). A big difference also depends on whether they need to be redirected to another page like PayPal or if they the user stays on the same page.
