I have a form on my site, which is a redirect to a login for a ticketing system. The form requires the email and password short names to be named txtemail and txtpass. This creates a problem becasue if the password fieldshort name is  txtpass then when a user types thier password it is visible on the screen. I know I can set the short name to DSPASSWORd and the text is masked, but then it's not the correct name for the login to work. Is there a way to mask the password entries without the short name being DSPASSWORD?

The redirect has to look like this: http://connect.yoururl.net/support/...sword]

    Hello,

    Yes you can do this.

You'll need this field to have the shortfieldname of "DSPassword" to enable the mask as a password field. You can then add in a hidden field with the shortfieldname of "txtpass".

In the client side section of the DSPassword field(under advanced question options), add in the following JavaScript/Token assignment:

    $(txtpass) = $(DSPassword)

Then you'll probably want the hidden field(txtpass) to pass the value to a Querystring variable, which you can enable under Advanced Question options for this field.

Please let me know if this helps.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
