I have a form where a field gets its data (email) from a session variable. The session variable is called “email.data”, I want to use this value to send a email after submission to this email address, so I put “$(email.data) in the “to” email address but it does not work?

I assume it is because short field names cannot have a “.” in them?

It works if I have “email_data” as the short field name (and session variable). But because my session names is already programmed in the other application it would be easier if DF could accept “.” In short field names…
