I am trying to increase the size of the data entry window for a textbox. I understand that I can set the number of characters that can fit in the window, but only 34 of the characters are shown. You have to scroll right to see the rest. It seems that under General Settings-> after  the Label Cell Width: XX, there should be a "Data Entry Window width: XX" that would allow you to change this. Or perhaps you could change it under settings for the dynamic question -> so for "phone" you would set it to 12 so it would be in the format 207-555-1212 and the data entry window size would match how many characters you could enter.

Maybe I am missing something but I have been through it several times and cannot see where to change this.

You can set this under the advanced settings for 'Textbox Length'. The defaults for textbox length can also be set under the general settings.

The only area you cannot yet change (will be able to in next release) is the height of multi line textbox. A few ideas to ponder on as we are developing 2.3...

1. Able to make survey mode available, only allowing user to submit the form once. If the user goes back to submit the form again it would display a message you could setup within the manage settings.

2. Various stylesheet issues and ability to setup options such as the height of multi line textbox.

3. New form completion event called 'Calculation Event'. This even would allow you to calculate fields and store the value in a hidden field. For example, if you had a textbox called Quantity and dropdownlist called Subscription and a hidden field called TotalPrice you could set the hidden field of TotalPrice to the value of $(Quantity) * $(Subscription). You will be able to do any form of calculation. You can then pass these variables to another module (such as our Tailored Text/HTML to handle a paypal payment) or maybe pass them to a shopping cart etc... We will try and provide some tutorials on these when they are completed.
