Hi,

I have added a rich text box control to a form. Whenever I save the page the data is saved in the database as type text.

so it saves it like this

Whenever I return to that page again I execute a get stored procedure and expect the rich text box to display the value that was saved in the database.

 

however when I return to the page the rich text box is blank.

I have tested the stored procedures and they work fine.

Any ideas??

So, is this all being saved using a SQL Event? So if you pass it static text in the SQL Event (just to test) it works but when you reference the RTB it doesn't return anything?

I have tested it using an ordinary textbox and it works fine it just wont display the text when I use a rich text box. I have also tested saving the data as type varchar.

Ok... So, it 'stores' the data fine, it just doesn't retrieve it to pull it in initially right? Is this using the 'Default VAlue' from SQL or the 'SQL Bind' feature?
