Can anyone help me write the client-side execution script that will disable the Submit button once it's clicked. I need this to avoid multiple clicks by the user and thus avoid multiple entries into the database.

You can check out our demos of dynamic forms (particularly demos 7 and 13) that has some tutorials on client side scripting. Most likely you will need to create customized scripts under the section "Submit / Save Javascript" of "Custom Javascript" edit.  Be careful when you script because the "CAPCHA" field may be entered incorrectly and this would require a reentry and you could possibly turn of the submit button without having entered a correct field yet.

Hi. Yes we will also add this to the list of future tutorials to add to demonstrations. We were going to add this as a feature as well within the module (to turn on or off) however we ended up running into issues specifically related to what David mentioned with validation. If the client side event disabled the form field after submission, then maybe a field wasn't validated, the user would be stuck on the form without a way to submit it. I would be happy to get more feedback on this issue though as I am sure more customers are wanting to implement similar forms etc....

You might also google 'Disable Link Button JavaScript' as I saw several posts that offered various solutions and examples. If you setup a page on Beta Springs attempting to implement any of these I would be happy to take a look under the hood.
