    Good Afternoon,

Is it possible to integrate Dynamic Forms with the core Events module in DNN?  I need to allow users to view Events, and to complete a customized form as part of the process of signing up for the event.  Is Dynamic Forms, or Dynamic Registration, my best bet for this scenario?

    Thanks,

    Sid

Hi. Probably Dynamic Forms unless you wanted them to be able to sign in and have a username password etc... Either way, are you just wanting the event name to appear in the dropdownlist? Or maybe all 'future' events? A dropdownlist with all upcoming events would be easy to do, but I am not sure if you need to update events or display other event info on the form?

    Hi Chad,

How would I place a drop down list that contains the upcoming events? That would fit the bill here. In doing so, I can place a registration link on each event, as well as on the events page, and other pages on the portal.

Thanks so much for your guidance!

This should work and pull in both the event name and the event ID as the value to be stored.

Select EventName as QuestionOption, EventID from QuestionOptionValue from Events

This would pull in all events, you could add only events form a specific moduleID or possible specific events from a specific date range.

Select EventName as QuestionOption, EventID from QuestionOptionValue from Events Where ModuleID = 555

    etc....

    Hi Chad,

The SQL statement throws an error. That is, when I use the first statement provided, I am presented with a SQL error. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Sid
