    In 5/2011 there was a great post about Single Sign on (see url below). In the post Chad did a good job of clarifying that the single sign on was for DNN parent and child portals only and not domain portals within a single DNN install.  

    In other words the SSO will work for: portalA.com and portalA.com/schools. But will not work for: portalA.com and portalB.com even if both of these portals are under the same DNN install.

    Is that still true?  I am looking for SSO solution between two domain portals within the same DNN install.

    Hi Carna - Yes, I believe so... Because of how ASP.net authentication tokens work.

    Dynamic Login can still sign the user into both portals... Just that it would force them to ask for their username and password again which it would not do if the root domain name had not changed.
