I've been searching a while for this.

With DNN 5.02 and earlier the file manager is not working in the main portal admin or host.

Whenever I click on a folder I get a page error and when i look into the details I get a seltreenode erroor (or something).

I can no longer use the filemanager.

When I remove the Flash Image rotator from that page everything works fine

From what I understand there should be a conflict in javascript between Filemanager and FIR

Can you please solve this issue?

    Thank you

    .

HI, that's strange. I'm running DNN 5.01.02 with Image Rotator on a page and I can click on File Manager under Admin just fine. Is this a site we can have host access to? If so, can you provide us with the info / URL using the "Contact Us" email and referencing this forum. Thanks. -- david

The image rotator must be on the same page as the Filemanager.
I know that is a bit pointless, but in my case I turn on the option to put the image rotator on all pages (starting from the home page) and it comes also in the filemanager page.
I just tried it with another portal and the problem is reproducable this way.
Just but the rotator on the filemanager page and try to click a folder in the file manager.

Hi, I don't have my Image Rotator set to appear on all pages. However, I just went into Admin/File Manager and added the Image Rotator to the bottom of the page and the File Manager is working fine there.

I moved it to the top and it works fine as well. I don't want to test it out by changing the Image Rotator to appear on all pages because I have a lot of test pages and it could slow down my system with too many things running at once. Is there a way to remove a that module from the Admin / File Manager page while leaving everything else instact? -- David

I can confirm the issue some ..

I have DNN 5.2.2 running with image rotator in header. When using file manager, I can't access subfolders, I get this error:

dnn.controls.controls[...].selTreeNode' is null or not an object

I remove the image rotator and the error goes away.

Image rotator raises a few XHTML validation errors (w3c)

    Hope that helps

    Kelly,

Hi. Yes, this is a pretty specific configuration setting... I know the error itself you have (dnn.controls.sel tree node etc...) is actually getting thrown from the filemanager (that is the tree view control that the file manager uses) but I am not really sure specifically what our module would be doing to raise the error. Our module basically just renders HTML to the page to display the flash object and there really isn't too much other code for the view mode.
