Having now worked with this a while, my wishlist would be as follows:

1) a checkbox to avoid the update queries every time you add, delete, or move an item in the image list box.

2) paste over the image with a transparent image to clearout the old image - without the transition. This is important if you have images of difference sizes - since the default fade takes forever.

3) auto scaling option - up or down.

4) bulk image operations: load from file, multiple select - something.

5) an instant on transition - just change the image...
