What we need to be able to do is be able to easily mark listings that are already on the site as sold. They should be clearly identifiable as sold and preferably be grouped together, below the active listings or instead to a separate page – a ‘Sold Archive’.

I do not want to have to delete all the info and re-enter it as a sold listing, rather I would like there to be an option of marking a property’s status.  This should be visible on the main listings page and the options should include Active, Reduced, Sold.

    Hi Darren,

Yes this feature doesn't currently exist within the module. We will review adding this for future updates. I think it would be great to have a 'Status' field (similar to category' where you could maintain what that avaliable status options were. For example 'Sold' but you could also include 'Forclosure' or 'Pending Sale' and basically then filter and only include certain status items.

We will review the best way to add this for future versions, I am logging our notes and will review them when we are releasing the next version (should be 2nd quarter).

    Thanks,

    Chad

What would be the cost to get this implemented. Its a client of ours, so we see it as a chance for you to implement these features at ZERO cost and make it an offering to all your users (and potentials) where we see it as an ability to expedite the process and make the client happy. Depending on the cost, the client would also be happy.

    Let me know your thoughts.

Hi, we would be able to handle this with Premium Support hours for around 8-10 hours. You can find out more about Premium Support and/or pick up an initial 8 hours at http:://www.datasprings.com/Premium-Support.

    Thanks,

    Chad

Darren, My workaround for this was to make an extra property type called  ***SOLD*** and the agents can just change the property type when a sale occurs. Not perfect, but it's an option.

    M Pratt,

This is a very good suggestion.

Since, there is already a built in search filter on property type.

    Thanks for the tip, Paul
