I just purchase the Real Estate 2.2 modules and have run into several issues:

Install of the two modules did NOT encounter any issues - running a clean DNN install 4.6

    1. Adding Featured Listing Module to page gives this error: dbo.RealEstate_DNN_GetAllFeaturesListings" doesn't exist

    2. When I go to edit an existing listing I get: 'dbo.RealEstate_DNN_UpdateListingExpiryDate' doesn't exist

    3. When I do a search or advanced search it doesn't return any records.  My searches are limited to using one field, e.g. category or bedrooms and nada on the returned results.

I have tried uninstalling both modules and reinstalling with the same failed results.  Please advice.

    Jim,

Hi. Very odd. Do you know if your site uses object qualifiers? This looks like SQL Scripts were either not created or they were created with object qualifiers and the module is not setup to use them. Either way, once these two stored procedures get created the problems should go away. Please open a support case and we can come back to this thread to let other users know what was causing it.

I'm not sure why, but when it installed, the stored procedures did not register as [dbo].[xyz stored procedure], but rather [name of my database][xyz stored procedure]

I went in through query analyzer and dropped the sproc and re-added and it works now.

I purchased and downloaded this module just last week (as 0_DataSprings_ModulePACollection_Version18.zip) from SnowCovered.  I checked my downloads and my patches/fixes and I don't see anything newer.  According to the DNN modules page I have the following versions installed:

Real Estate Featured Listing Module 02.20.00
    Real Estate Listing Module 02.20.30

But I am getting the same error reported above.  If this is fixed in a newer release, how do I get the update/upgrade?  Thanks - Jeremy

Jeremy - I am sending this this to you now. I thought that we updated all downloads and patches areas but not sure about the collection update.

I just purchased the Real Estate modules from Snowcovered as part of the collection.   After finding this thread I looked at the patches section and there is no new patch for this module listed there.

I fixed the first problem by adding the folder in my root directory.  But I'm stuck on

"The stored procedure 'dbo.RealEstate_DNN_GetAllFeaturedListings' doesn't exist."

    Please advise.

Just a follow up on this... We received an email from Brett and this was already taken care of.

Brett if you have a chance please let us know what was causing it. Possibly needing an update or something along those lines?

I am still on 2.2 for the Real Estate Module and I wish Brent had let you know what was done to fix the issue of dbo.RealEstate_DNN_GetAllFeaturedListings'  since I am still getting this one.

Any idea of how this was solved. I tried reinstalling. I will be looking at the database to see if the proc is there.

    Michael,

If this was the same as my issue, you may find the sproc registered as [yourdatabasename].[RealEstate_DNN_GetAllFeaturedListings]. If that's the case, reinstalling the module won't solve your issue.

What you will need to do is go into the stored procedure, and rerun it by making sure the sproc reads CREATE PROCEDURE [dbo].[RealEstate_DNN_GetAllFeaturedListings] Notice that the sproc will probably read as "ALTER PROCEDURE..." so that will need to be changed to "CREATE PROCEDURE...."

Again, this was what resolved my issue. My name is Jim and I approve this message.

When the database procs were added by the module load, the procs were not created with the dbo userid. They used the userid that I am logged into the database with. I created the three procedures with the dbo owner and the module worked.
