    Hi,

    I am using this doctype.

    When I use it the newsticker generates an js error.

    How can I solve this without changing the doctype?

    Hi. Can you tell me more specifically what doctype is? Is The module does use the JavaScript file for the DHTML mentioned, if its interfering you might also consider the Flash News Ticker which doesn't use any JavaScript files at all.
