I was just trying the demo version of Interactive Import Module and got a "warning" during the installation process (see below).  Maybe I should explain what I'm trying to accomplish.  We have a seperate "contact management" database.  We'd like to be able to sync user information between these two databases.  Ideally, we'd like to "import" the user information into DNN from our contact database at the time of registration.  Another, option would be to schedule a job to "import" new contacts on a regular basis.  We'd also like the ability to update the contact database if the user updates his/her profile.  Do you think I can acomplish that with a combination of the Interactive Module/Dynamic Registration?

HI Craig, that error relates to the IUI import scheduler. If you go to HOST / SCHEDULE, do you see the UserImportProcess there? If so, it should be fine and you should be able to edit the scheduler. -- david

Thanks david - I do not see the UserImportProcess in the schedule.   Can I add it manually?

Yes, go to HOST / SCHEDULE and choose "Add Item to Schedule" and type in:
Full Class Name and Assembly: DataSprings.DNN.Modules.UserImport.UserImportProcess, DataSprings.DNN.Modules.UserImport

Object Dependencies: DataSprings_UserImport

HI Craig, so the contact management database, you can extract information from it and save the user info to a "csv / txt" file? If so, you can use IUI to generate import that information into DNN. On the other hand, if the user updates his/her profile on DNN, I don't know how it's possible to synch this DNN data with your contact management database though since I'm not familiar with it. -- David
