    Hi,

I installed the Dynamic User Directory along with Dynamic Registration. I created my reg fields and mapped them to DNN profile properties. However, when I go to the Directory Template of the User Directory module, the some of the registration fields are not being displayed.

    Any ideas?

HI, the reason being that if you add new profiles, for it to show up in the Dynamic User Directory as a token for you to use, you need to set 1 user with a property for that field. Then after 1 user is set with a value for that field, and you want that token to show up right away, you can go to host / schedule and find the DUD scheduler, edit it and change the time that it updates (default is 60 minutes). So by changing it to 65 minutes for example, and saving, you will see the profile property appear as a token to use right away. Othewise, you will need to wait for the scheduler to update at it's regularly scheduled interval before you see the profile property token appear. I hope this answers your question. -- David

I followed your instructions but no luck. I still don't see the majority of the dynamic registration profile properties in the DUD template config.

If I look at the schedule history I do not see the Dynamic User Directory item in the list. When I installed this module I received an error because there was no Friednly Name supplied for the schedul eitem. Chad mentioned this was a new DNN 5.2.2 field. So, he provided a SQL Script I could run, which I did, to properly set up the schedule item.

I notice there is no ObjectDependancy set for the schedule item. Should there be?

Nope, there isn't any object dependencies. But I thought you can the script Chad provided and it ran? If so, you should see the DUDScheduler under Host / Schedule. -- David

The script Chad provided added the item to the schedule, it didn't have anything to do with running it. I ran the script that Chad provided, and it added it to the schedule just fine. The problem is I don't see that the item ever ran. Even if I click Run Now, the item does not appear in the schedule history list.

My hunch is that the schedule is not running and this is the source of my problem. Any ideas?

HI, if you click on the link "History" of the DUD Scheduler, do you see if it created the two tables "tempDUDpivot" and "tempDUDprofile" successfully? Also, if you change the time of the DUD scheduler and click on "Update", it will run automatically.

If possible, is this a site we have host access to? If so, please use the "Contact Us" and reference this forum, providing us with the URL and login info. thanks. -- David

I checked the database itself and I do see these two tables.

The site is running on localhost at the moment but I can provide a link to a staging server later to day or tomorrow.

Okay, then if you look at the table "tempdudpivot", do you see the profile properties columns that it contains? (select * from tempdudpivot). Any profile property columns that it does not have that you want it to show in DUD, you will need to update one user on your website with a value for that property column and then to see it appear in DUD template right away, simply go to Host / Schedule, edit the DUD scheduler and change the time from the default of 60 minutes to 65 minutes and save. It should run right away and update the "tempdudpivot" with that profile property added and you will see it available for use in the DUD template. --David

I did exactly as you stated. I have a user with all profile fields selected. I changed schedule item from 60 to 65, clciked update. No changes to the tempDUDPIVOT table. It's not picking up the Dynamic Registration properties.

My guess is that the schedule item is not running.

HI, I fixed your issue after you gave me host privilege on your site. It seems none of your schedulers were running so I switched them from "Request" method to "Timer" method and deleted / re-created the DUD scheduler and it seemed to work fine afterwards. -- David

HI, what version of DNN are you running? Is any of your other schedulers running if you click on "History" next to it? -- david

as per another thread on this forum, running this script fixed the issue  [Smile]

execute AddSchedule 'DataSprings.DNN.Modules.DynamicUserDirectory.DUDSchedulerClient, DataSprings.DNN.Modules.DynamicUserDirectory',60,'m',30,'m',25,'',1,1,'', NULL,0, 'Dynamic User Directory'
