I had by dynamic directory all working.  Then....I needed and additional field.  I added a new profile property field in the dnn users module.  Went to dynamic registration and added the corresponding fields there.  Now my dynamic directory is missing over half my fields in the directory list.  And the temp table is not building.  The log viewer says

InnerException: Invalid column name 'Sex1'. Invalid column name 'Sex1'. Invalid column name 'LGHEIRep'. Invalid column name 'LGHEIRep'.

My new field name was LGHEIRepApproval so I'm thinking that there was some conflict.  I have sense deleted the field, forced the rebuild in the scheduler but I now have 2 record users host and admin in the temp tables and only about half the fields.

What do you suggest I do to get the table to rebuild correctly.  I have looked at the dnn user table and user profile and all the 700 users with their profile info is there.  So it is definitly the rebuild.  Can I just delete the two temp tables and let them rebuild?

HI, you say you only have two users (host and admin) on your website. For the new columns you added to the DNN profile, do the two users have values associated with these columns? You need to have at least one user have valid data for each of these columns first. And then you can simply edit the DUD scheduler and click on "Run Now" if you have DNN 5.2 and higher or just change the time on the DUD scheduler and click Update. Then if you click on the "History" of the DUD scheduler, it should rebuild the two tables "tempdudprofile" and "tempdudpivot" and when you go back to DUD template, all the fields should appear.

You can also check after running the scheduler by going to host / sql and typing in:

    select * from tempdudpivot

(this table shows all the columns that are available on the DUD template). Any new DNN profile fields (whether created through Dynamic Reg or DNN user profile) need to have at least one user that has data set for these columns for the temp tables to update and regenerate. -- David

I figured out the problem.  Because I was having problems with the dynamic registration module and allowing the user to change their password, I had resorted to using the core dnn registration module for changing passwords.  When I did this I set all the profile properties to "not visible" and that caused then to be left out of the table.  Plus since there were no fields with data then no users were added to the field.

So it was not related at all to adding a new profile property.
