    I got the following error (Scheduler-Log)

    Error Sending Email Message... Check configuration properties.     and I googled the following:

    Is there a problem with DNN5.3.1 which if so can be resolved quickly?

    HI, can you verify that SMTP is set up properly on your system? Please go to Admin / Newsletter and try to send a newsletter to yourself and see if you receive it or not. Also, go to Admin / Event Viewer and see if there are any other detailed error messages relating to sending out email / SMTP. -- David
