    We continue to have errors with our RealEstate module. I've edited the listings template and saved it as suggested in the other thread but I'm still getting errors. Here's the page:
    http://confluent.us/test/
    Do a search for house then click on the info link to see the errors.
    I've installed it twice. The second time (current) it was installed clean on a brand new portal but I'm getting the same errors.

    Support through my host said this,
    "It appears that the listing is attempting to access a remote server to consume data. Apparently the path that is trying to access on the remote server is not valid. Our hosting environment is setup in the way to support the widest array of modules. Unfortunately we are unfamiliar, with this particular module and can't explain what would cause this."

    The error shows as a 404 but it actually generates 2 errors in the event viewer:

    HI. I wanted to follow up on this thread. We also have a open support ticket that we are reviewing but in case other users are running into this we have narrowed it down to child portals. The module is attempting to render content and the URL its rendering from includes the child portal alias (i.e. www.site.com/alias/desktopmodules/ instead of www.site.com/desktopmodules). More specifically the line of code in question is this:

    pageRequest = wClient.DownloadData("http://" & PortalSettings.PortalAlias.HTTPAlias.ToString() & "/DesktopModules/" & strDirectoryName & "/" & "ShowGallery.aspx?PropertyID=" & propertyID & "&PortalID=1")

    We are reviewing this to determine if a fix is needed or we have a work around. For now we do know that moving to a site that does not include the additional virtual directory or alias after the domain should fix it up. Another temporary fix might also be to create a directory called the child portal http alias under the DNN installation followed by the desktopmodules/real estate listing module directory (i.e. DotNEtNuke/childsite/desktopmodules/Real Estate Listing Module/). This would create a directory that it could access I believe. This has not been tested at this time though.

    Hi Everyone,

    I have been experiencing the same issue on my child portal and I basically added a new directory called "desktopmodules" into my child portal and copy and pasted the entire Real Estate Listing Module into that directory and it appears to pull back the detailed listing just fine, probably not the best way but definitely a work around for now. However, I would be very interested in installing a fix once completed.

    Thanks,

    Mark
