I have created a series of DR pages and would like to present the data in a summary page using several Dynamic view modules on the same page.

I noticed that I can retrieve data from a DF and the multiple questions are given unique column names so that each response can be inserted as a unique token on the page.

Is there a similar SQL query or procedure I can use or adapt  to do the same thing for questions stored in DR? I can produce a  list of DR questions from a SQL query but want to only use some of the question/response tokens and present them in a more suitlable way, similar to how DF and DV work together.

    SELECT question, response ,DynamicRegistration_Question.sortorder from DynamicRegistration_Question JOIN DynamicRegistration_QuestionResponse ON DynamicRegistration_Question.DynamicQuestionID = DynamicRegistration_QuestionResponse.DynamicQuestionID where moduleid = 515 and userid = 5 and questionType <> 'HTML' order by DynamicRegistration_Question.sortorder

HI, your SQL query is right on the money. You may want to also include the following:

    SELECT question, response from DynamicRegistration_Question INNER JOIN DynamicRegistration_QuestionResponse ON DynamicRegistration_Question.DynamicQuestionID = DynamicRegistration_QuestionResponse.DynamicQuestionID where dynamicregistration_question.moduleid = 515 and dynamicregistration_questionresponse.userid = 5 and questionType <> 'HTML' and questiontype <> 'HR' and questiontype <> 'button' and questiontype <> 'datagrid'
    order by DynamicRegistration_Question.sortorder

See if this will work for you. -- David

Thank you for the quick reply. However, this SQL query still produces a simple list of questions and their response with the column header and hence token, Question - Response. Although we can then output a list of ALL the data we CANNOT insert  $(question 1 ) $(question 5) whereever we want in order to customise the display.

Our goal is to create some form of pivot table (?) whereby the question text becomes the column header and the response is listed in the unique column (i.e one row is created).

    David,

Do you already own Dynamic User Directory as well? If so then this query is included in that module and we have already done all of the hard work for you... Trust me, we spent a great deal of time making and developing the query and PIVOT table that makes each column the DNN Core Profile field and the data for each user there.

So... You could actually reference those tables directly if you have the DUD scheduler running... Currently it runs every 1 hour by default. The two tables you would query from would be TempDUDPivot and TempDUDProfile.

    Thanks,

    Chad
