I know the current version is supposed to be for SQL 2005, but is there anyway to get DUD installed on SQL 2000?  My host is planning their upgrade, but I still don't know when it will be available.

I know there may be a few things not available, or a little slower, but I really need to get a Directory started.

    Thanks.

HI, the latest/current version of DUD does require SQL 2005 compatibility mode because it uses the PIVOT SQL command for retrieving DNN user profile listing which isn't available in SQL 2000.

However, I suppose you can purchase the latest DUD version, but also request the older version that didn't use the PIVOT stored procedure and install the older version to use temporarily. When your client upgrades to SQL 2005, them simply install the latest DUD version on top.

Will this be acceptable to you? -- David

That would be very handy.  I'm already a customer with the 3.0 collection, so I don't think I'll need to purchase anything else.  Should I just create a ticket on Snowcovered to get the old version?

    Hi Wayne,

You can use the Contact Us Support Form to request it.  Please use an email address that can accept zip files and include your invoice ID and this thread's URL for reference.  Thanks!

Hi Wayne.  I just sent the file over to both your email addresses.  Please let me know if you don't receive it in the next hour or so.  Thanks!

Thanks, I've got them, however, I still had 2 small errors on install.

In two SQL files there are local variables @SQLToExecute declared as nvarchar(max). Can I safely change those to either nvarchar(4000) or varchar(8000) to let them install?

    Files:
    02.40.20.SqlDataProvider
    02.50.00.SqlDataProvider

Yes, you can change them to nvarchar(4000) or nvarchar(8000). -- David
