Problem: When a user is created we have two fields that are available (images). If either of these has an image uploaded to it and update registration is clicked the browser will get hung up (no redirect happens; the browser is stuck loading). In order to go back to the page(or anywhere else on the site) you have to close the browser and reopen the site. The changes go through ok but the completion events don't happen.
If an image isn't uploaded the profiles update ok, the completion events fire ok (except for the problem outlined below) and the page redirects succesfully.
I've looked through the forums and haven't found any information on this yet.
The site is using DNN Version 5.04.03 Dynamic Registration version 4.0.60. I've verified that the images are being uploaded to directory : Portals/1/Dynamic-Registration_Images/ . I've also checked the user profile properties to make sure that the string is being properly stored in the DNN Core.
Also I'm not completly sure if the two are related or not but when a new user is created by the admin - a completion event is firing when it is not supposed to: We have two email completion events set up
- When a user is created the admin of the site receives an email saying a new user was created
- When a user's profile is updated the admin receives an email saying the profile was updated (this is for when a user updates their own profile)
Both emails are being sent.
New Signup Email is a dynamic email, has a sort order of 1, is only supposed to fire upon initial registration, and is set to any field response.
Profile Update Email is a dynamic email, has a sort order of 2, is only supposed to fire upon registration updates and is set to any field response.
A timely response would be much appreciated as the site is live and I have a client who is asking me how long it is going to take to fix.
Thanks for your time and consideration.
