    I have an Text/Html field as the 1sr field on my DF form.  I want to change the text (or hide the Text/HTML field) ) afterthe initial SQL script binds form field data.   I then want to hide or change text  based on the value of one of the form fields.

     Can I do this with the initial Javascript optuin?

    What do I have to do to make the form field values available to the unit javascript code?  When I hzs a field in the init JS like $(GameID) (which is set by init SQL bind) or even $(DSParam2),  the values do not seem to available to JS.

    Let me clarify and simplify this awful post.

    In DF how do I hide a field based on the record count from the initial SQl bind query?

    Is there a way to do this after the initial SQL bind?

    I think you can do this by setting up a question event based on a hidden field (the field type of hidden not hide until forced visible). Then just make sure (and this is very important) that the hidden field has a sort order that is before the field you are trying to hide.
