Hi,
I am looking for some advice on how to approach a particular site I am building. The purpose of the new site is to handle reservations. On the front page the site will calculate a quote based on a start / finish date.
Once the quote is displayed to the user, they have the ability to confirm the reservation. As part of completing the reservation, the user needs to provide some additional information such as email address, telephone number, mailing address etc.
Ideally I would like to convert all this data into a registration, so that when a user returns to book a subsequent reservation, they don't have to type all the data elements again.
Is there a way for Dynamic Forms to know if a user is currently logged in? (I.e. Rolls?)
Can I do all of the registration / integration under the advanced field options for integration with core DNN fields?
Do I need the Dynamic Registration module?
I think the best place to start is prompt the user if they are a new or returning customer. My doubt is on what is the next step. Does anyone have a link they can post showing how they have solved this in the past?
Thanks!
