Registration Form not redirecting to paypal

    I'm trying to set up a payment gateway to paypal, however on form completion it is not redirecting to paypal, instead it always redirects to the Redirect Page After Registration value .

    PAYMENT GATEWAY
    Enable Payment Gateway (YES)
    Payment Gateway (PayPal)
    Test Mode (OFF)
    Execute Gateway (Both new/update registrations)
    Calculation Tool (Blank)

    PAYPAL GATEWAY
    PayPal Login (email used to create paypal sandbox acct)
    PayPal Payment Type (Purchase)
    PayPal URL (Sandbox)
    Additional Parmanters (
    &item_name=$(radio)&currency_code=USD&amount=$(Total)&first_name=$(FirstN)&last_name=$(LastN)
    )

    Form Completion Events: work as expected (sends emails)
    Page Permissions: all users can view
    Redirect Page after registration:  redirects to the url/web page asssigned

    Am I missing something obvious?

    Hi. I am really not sure why it wouldn't be redirecting to PayPal... Seems very weird as those settings seem correct. Can you please try the same/similar settings on www.betasprings.com (sign in as host/dnnhost). If you enable 'DEBUG MODE' can you also let us know if any specific details spit out there?

    Hi Chad,

    Thanks for your response, after running out of possible fixes I went ahead and rebuilt the form, it now seems to be working as expected.

    I can't explain it, but it seems to be working!

    Hello,

    I am getting the same problem. I have created my form and made sure in the settings

    PAYMENT GATEWAY
    Enable Payment Gateway (YES)
    Payment Gateway (PayPal)
    Test Mode (OFF)
    Calculation Tool (£400)

    PAYPAL GATEWAY
    PayPal Login (email used to create paypal sandbox)
    PayPal Payment Type (Purchase)
    PayPal URL (Sandbox)
    Form Completion Events: complete (standard)


    but why does it come up with this message when I click on the form submit button:

    The system is currently in test mode so your information has not been saved. Please uncheck test mode within the administration settings if you are done testing.

    Also, no e-mails get sent to the specified address.

    Hi Claire,

    There are different areas that might be causing a problem so let me ask a few questions:

    For the error message:
    1. In Module Configuration, General Settings, please be sure that test mode is not enabled here. Do you still get the error?

    For the emails not going out:
    1. Can yo tell me the exact module version you have from Host >Module Definitions / Extensions?
    2. What is your DNN version?
    3. Please check this blog post on PayPal and Completion Events. Do any of the tips here clear the issue? http://www.datasprings.com/news/blog/postid/7
