DNN Crash right after IUI is installed

    Right after installing Interactive User Import, I'm getting this message: Exception Details: System.Security.Policy.PolicyException: Required permissions cannot be acquired.

    I think this is due to trust level required by the module that isn't the same as the web itself. The site is hosted with GoDaddy, so not sure how I can change the trust level if that's what it is. Any ideas how to fix this one?

    Hi Tim - With the most recent verions of Interactive User Import we were forced to use an Excel component that isn't the build in Microsoft Jet Engine component that Microsoft uses. The reason for this is because the older jet engine excel import feature from Microsoft wouldn't work on 64 bit operating systems, wouldn't work for XLSX and new Excel 2007 files etc... So, we moved to using a 3rd party control and component which does work great but yes, likely requires DNN to run under a higher trust level then Go Daddy is allowing. I have seen these with other modules and components (some from ours such as the bounceback control within our Opt In Email module etc...). I am not sure if you can have them change the trust level but I don't really know a way around this within our modules.

    Hi Chad -
    OK. DR works fine, so at this point its only IUI. I don't think there's any way to get GoDaddy to raise the trust level... many of these "bulk" hosting companies won't do that citing security reasons and such. So, it appears at this time we won't be able to use IUI for this customer... need to find another way to import user accounts.
