    When you filter the results of the search on the user directory module, it will return the correct results, but say if it returned 132 results and the user had a 50 per page setting to display, if the user then chooses to make it 100 it fully refreshes the page and does not return the filtered results any longer just the default ones returned on initial page load.

    So the conflict is with changing the Page Size after already doing a filtered result.

    Is there a fix for this issue.

    Go here:

    Type in the box "Lynn" into the search criteria box that says First Name does not equal.

    You will see the results are shown now with out Lynn's user in them. Now change Page sort to 25 instead of the default 10. The filter search is not reset and Lynn's user appears in the list.

    Is there a fix for this?

    Hello Dustin,

    I see this functionality of what you're specifying. I think the records per page drop down list is causing a postback which in essence is losing the search condition (select all users except lynn).


    Unfortunately we don't have a fix or an immediate available patch. I will have to have our development team review this and get back to you.

    It may take up to two weeks for the patch if this is put in high priority to get a patch out.

    Hi guys,

    Well really anytime you change the page size its going to 'reset' the page and search completely. I suppose if this was happening it would/should also reset the search and show it was empty instead of forcing you to click search. I am not sure if this was by design to cause the page to be reset or if it was meant to also then choose the search options 'after' the paging. I have added this to my list to review for the 4.1 release so hopefully we will fix this then.
