SSL and Excel Export

    Greetings,

    When ssl is turned on for page, the export to Excel brings up a default.aspx error. If I turn ssl off, I am able to export to Excel.

    I was told to purchas Dynamic Views because in Dynamic Forms the Excel file was corrupted when exporting to Excel with ssl turned on.

    The file export fine but only with ssl turned off for the page.

    Hi Todd,

    Hmm... Yes this hasn't ever been brought up before with Dynamic Views. Are you running IE or FireFox?

    Hmm... Nevermind, I just checked the code. I believe it will work in FireFox but not IE. Damn Ok, well there are already enhancements going into Dynamic Views right now, so although I am tempted to create a patch it will likely need to wait as those are almost done.

    In case you are curious those include:
    1. Ability to choose between data grid and standard template
    2. Ability for Detail View to pop up in a very nice jQuery modal pop up
    3. Ability to use Multiline textbox fields instead of Rich Text Editor fields for templates.

    So... Hopefully you can use a work around until we get the next release out. Sorry, didn't realize this was still a problem.
