News Ticker not displaying correctly in IE9, Chrome or Firefox

    Hi there,

    I'm running News Ticker 1.50.0 on a customer DNN 5.6.3 site and it only works properly in IE9 compatibility mode. In standard IE9, Chrome, Firefox the module is at top of page and not rotating.

    Your example page here http://www.datasprings.com/news-ticker-examples  likewise doesn't display properly except in compatibility mode.

    Any chance of a fix?

    Hi Alan,

    We actually discovered this recently and because of some new updates to DNN skins in the latest versions of DNN this is causing a conflict with the news ticker module. We can offer you our Dynamic News Ticker which is flash based (actually more expensive than our other news ticker module) if this interests you? Otherwise we might need to get you a refund if you purchase the standard news ticker module.

    Hi Chad, thanks for the speedy reply. As we have the Developer license for the Collection we actually have both News tickers and I demo'ed both to our customer and they choose the News Ticker over the Dynamic News Ticker this being before we noticed the problems.

    Are you saying you are retiring the News Ticker and it won't get fixed or that you will fix it at some future date as I'll have to let me customer know either way. I know which one I think equates to
    "We are not happy until you are happy. Client satisfaction guaranteed." !


    Let me know soonest as I have a client meeting booked for tomorrow and it's sure to come up.
