    Hello!

I couldn't find this in documentation or any other place. If I want to import users from a site but I want them to belong to the same portal as the other site, is this possible with Interactive user import? Basically I have to rebuild a site, and import all the users from the old site, but that site has 5 child portals, each with many users. I hope i was clear enough.

    Cheers!

    Hi Istvan,

Yes... This is exactly what Interactive User Import is for, or maybe if you are upgrading from another version of DotNetNuke and want to start with a fresh installation and an export of those users who you need brought into the new instance of DotNetNuke.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. Could you tell me what I have to do in order to import the users to a specific portal? Do i have to create a page in that portal, add the module to it, and then the user import will automatically assign each user to that portal? If not, what are the steps of doing it?

    Thanks!
