[Just for the record, the forum lost my post again. I'm using Chrome if that helps, and it seems more likely to occur if I leave and return to the posting page. Fortunately, I'm wise to it so I saved my text before clicking Submit.]
Hello,
I have a form used on multiple pages. The form is working fine, and I identify which page I'm on by inspecting the URL and setting a hidden field. When the form is submitted, I send an email based on the value of the hidden field, and use the "Display After Submit" message and setting to display a "thank you for submitting" message to the user. The user hits the "Continue..." to continue. All of this is working fine now which is great.
There are two issues I'm struggling to resolve:
- After the user clicks "Continue..." I'd like to reload the same page. I cannot set a page in the Module Settings because I won't know ahead of time which page I'm on (as the form is on multiple pages). So I'd just like to reload the current URL. Is there a settings that would so this automatically?
- If I add a Clear link to the form with a type Page Refresh, the page reloads using the DNN page format of MYSITE/default.aspx?TabId=XXX rather than my friendly URL. Is there a way to refresh the page with the friendly URL rather than the TabId format?
Thank you for any help,
Erik
