View module still not generating columns

    I have one field (telephone) generated in a form module using the form wizard. The field label is unique. Despite my also creating the DataSprings_DynamicViews_GetDynamicFormsResults proc and restarting the server, I still cannot generate any columns.

    Do you have any other suggestions for generating fields from a dynamic form in the view module?

    Hi Collin,

    Can you please tell me your exact Dynamic Views module version? Also, what DNN version are you on?

    Also, on that SQL, you may have to change it from CREATE to ALTER. Thanks!

    Also - Do other fields work/exist ok? If so, the problem could be in the label... Do you use text such as ( ), : [ ] or anything like that? Our module attempts to create a virtual "Table" with each question as a column... So one problem could be that we are avoiding these questions because of some characters that would not work if you were to try and create a table with that same character.

    Thank you for quick response.

    I'm using view 2.20.10 and dnn 6.01.05. I had to change the alter to create--there was no proc by that name (and I did restart the app). There are no odd characters. Question field=Telephone' and short name=tele created from the dynamic forms wizard.

    Hi. Do other fields show up ok? IS telephone the only one that doesn't or do no fields appear to be generated?

    In this case, the telephone field is. I've created other forms with more fields, but I haven't been able to generate any columns as well. I added another field to this form just to see, but there was no difference.

    I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the module, too.

    I am having the same problem and nothing I have tried resolves the issue. I can generate columns from a sql query option but not from the dynamic forms option.

    Hi Collin - You might review this specific thread... if you still have problems, please open a support ticket and make sure that we have host rights to the website so that we can sign in and get you fixed up pretty quickly.

    If you take this query (but change the first word from ALTER to CREATE in the query) and run this under Host/SQL... Does this run successfully?
