I am new to Data Springs, and need help understanding which products I need to accomplish a task.

I need to create a DotNetNuke 6 page that uses combo-boxes to prompt for selection criteria to be used to populate a grid on the same page.  The combo boxes and the grid will be populated from an external Sql Server 2008 R2 database.

Should I use a Dynamic Forms module for the combo boxes, and a Dynamic Views module for the grid?  If so, how do I access the Dynamic Forms selections for the Dynamic View SQL statement?
Are there any examples avaiable for what I am trying to do?

    Hello MJ,

Yes I would use Dynamic Forms and Dynamic Views.

Dynamic Forms will allow an external connection for the combo boxes.

Dynamic Views will allow an external connection to display the results.

We don't have a demonstration for integrating Dynamic Forms and Dynamic Views to an External Data Base however I believe this demonstration will help out the most:

    Thanks,

    Ryan
