After upgrade to DF 4.1, all data goes into a single column when exporting to Excel instead of each field going in a seperate column. We are using dynamic Forms 4.1 and DNN 6.1.2. Thoughts?

    Hi Chad-

So, this is going to sound strange but I swear it's true. As I said above, if I go to one of our forms that existed before the last upgrade and go to export results to excel, it saves it as a csv file and when I open it in Excel all data goes into one column.

I spent some time this morning trying out the different options from the discussion you mentioned above. After much experimenting, I found out that simply opening up the "View Results Options" under Module Configuration, not making any changes at all, and clicking on "Update Settings" triggers it into exporting the file as an xls and everything looks as it should with each field in a seperate column.

One thing to note - when I go to open the file in Excel I get a warning saying "The file you are trying to open is in a different format than specified by the file extention. Verify that the file is not corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening the file. Do you want to opent the file now?" I choose "yes" and the file opens without incident.

Hope this is helpful for anyone else who is experiencing this problem... a pretty easy solution.

    Thanks for you help Chad.
