    Hello,
I have a problem with Dynamic registration 3.20.20: I have two linked dropdowns, the former populating the latter by a question event reading its value (by its shortname token).
The problem is that when the first dropdown value contains an apice, my sql statement gives an error.

    SQL:

select ' - Seleziona la Città - ' as QuestionOption, '0' as QuestionOptionValue
    Union All
select Text as QuestionOption, value as QuestionOptionValue from lists where ListName = 'City'
AND [ParentID] = (select EntryID from Lists where ListName = 'Province'  and value=replace( '$(MyProvince)', '''', ''))
    order by QuestionOption

$MyProvince is the shortname to get the first combo value; if this is for example L'Aquila, the sql will become:

    ...  and value=replace( 'L'Aquila', '''', ''))

and of course give an error.
Is there a way to solve? I cannot remove apices from values.
    Best Regards,
    al.

    Hello Al,

You're not getting a SQL error, your dependent drop down list just isn't pulling in any results. The reason being is because the $(Province) token hasn't had the chance to render the value from the Parent Drop Down List.

If you're attempting to put together Dependent Drop Down relationships I'd recommend taking a look at our Demo 11:

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
