I would like to be able to display search crteria in my header template for a report, especially if I pass those values in via querystring. Are there tokens for the search fields that can be used in this way? I did not see this referenced anywhere.

Hi Walt - Unfortunately this feature does not exist at this time... I do believe this would be a great feature to add though and I don't mind adding it to the enhancement list for future releases. So basically would want to replace all $(Tokens) within the header template from maybe a query string value passed in or maybe a specific search term used? If you can provide me with some examples of how you would like for this to appear within the header or footer template I will get some notes created and an enhancement added into our JIRA system for Dynamic Views at:

    https://datasprings.atlassian.net/browse/DV

    Thanks,

    Chad

That is correct. I would want to replace the token, using it in the an HTML element in the header template, and would want to be able to then control the way it is displayed with CSS. I can see where it would also be very useful to be able to use other information (besides search terms) passed from a Dynamic Form as a parameter in a querystring. Attached is a simple example of what I need. I would appreciate you adding it to your list.

    Thanks Walt!

For future reference here is the enhancement request within the system for us to track down the road:

    Thanks,

    Chad
