Hi there, I've just upgraded to the latest version of Dynamic Registration (
4.20.11.0) on DNN
6.1.5 and I'm re-creating our sign up form.
I'm trying to create a sign up form that uses a combo box MM DD YYYY date picker to write to a custom profile field "DOB".
My module is using DNN default containers and skin (DarkKnight-Home-StandardMenu) and a plain container.
I've run into some issues that I'm pretty sure should just work;
1. There is no option under the jQuery / AJAX settings of the module to disable jQuery, like there was in 4.1. This is an issue as without disabling jQuery the Admin tool bar and manage button was completely disfunctional with jQuery enabled for this module.
2. I would *really* like to use AJAX for this sign up form. Does this mean I need to enable the jQuery? (At the minute can't find the option to turn jQuery off anyway).
3. If AJAX is enabled, when the form is submitted, or springs a validation message, the "DAY" combo box is reset back to the default value of "day". This breaks the value from being written to the profile field and the user is then created, but the DOB profile field is broken.
4. If AJAX is disabled, it works, but I'd like to be able to use AJAX so the page doesn't do a complete postback when selecting a month.
Please help with this, I've tried everything to troubleshoot this, including using the DNN default skin. Upgrading to DNN 6.2 isn't an option for us at the moment. Your modules are pretty good any usually the basic things just work (or have some solution in the forum / demonstration page), but I can't find anything on this.
