Generating Columns not generating columns

    I have a trial version of DV on a test site with an unlicensed copy of Dynamic Forms.

    I have a multiple sample forms in the site and a simple form with just  firstname, lastname as shortfield names. 

    I select the simple forms MID, click Generate Columns and the following columns are generated
     
    rowid
    ViewDetailLink
    ViewDetailLinkURL

    instead of Firstname and Lastname.

    This is on DNN 6.2.1

    Am I missing something obvious?

    There's a SQL statement suggested there but you may have to change between ALTER and CREATE, depending on your set up.

    Thanks Cadace.

    I had to create the SP, but still got the same results... the only columns that are generated are
    rowid, ViewDetailLink, ViewDetailLinkURL. I think these come from the Template don't they?

    It makes me wonder what triggers the SP to run? Is it possible that whaterver it is... isn't in the code?

    Hi SK - Can you also try and run this against a very standard form? Are you trying this on a form that has a lot of columns or just a couple? This might help narrow down the specific issue of what is happening. Also, if you enable "DEBUG MODE" (within the filter section there should be a checkbox for this) can you tell me if there are any errors that appear there?

    Hi Chad,

    I've run it against a form that has FirstName and LastName, created by the form wizard.

    I checked the Debug Mode in the filter section and Generated Columns, no errors were returned.

    I passed host credentials to Ryan last week so he could login and diagnose. I can share the same w/ you if it helps.
