    Hi - I have set up almost every gateway imaginable with DR except PayPal

    I am finally doing a paypal integration and it works GREAT the only thing that I am having trouble with is after they click 'return to merchant' they get sent to the correct page according to my events....BUT they are not logged in.

    Is there a way to keep them logged in? Or do I need to ask them to log in?

    HI Daniel,

    By design, users don't get automatically logged in with PayPal integration because we don't create the account until we receive the PayPal IPN that says payment was completed. In most cases, this happens very quickly but we have to account for delays, pending status, etc.

    Yes, I would suggest you ask them to log in. I like to offer a login link right on your redirect page. Thanks!
