I have a "Submit To" radio button group that is used in a form completion event. The selections are Suupervisor, COO, CFO, Legal, the default value is Supervisor. The form is available to Anonymous users.
When the selection is "Supervisor" the form completion event sends out an email to the supervisor.
I don't want the user to change the selection from Supervisor, so I made the field Read Only... but when the form is submitted, the form completion event doesn't send an email.
Then I unchecked "read only" and ticked "Hide from anonymous users" so it wouldn't appear on the form... no email was sent when the form was submitted.
Is there something eles in either the question or form completion that I need to do to make the form completion event work if the field is either "read only" or "hidden"?
Thanks |

I don't think these issues are related.
I've deleted all of the Question Events and all but one Question Completion event, the one that sends the email based on the radio button being set to Supervisor is the only one in the system.
As long as the Radio Buttons are 'read only', no email is sent.
After I take it out of "read only ", the email is sent.

Hello SK, I see, it seems as though Read Only isn't allowing the Value associated with the Question on the Form to be used Conditionally in your Form Completion Event. Just so I understand, do you disable the Radio Button group once a selection is made by a user? Or is there an update mode for this form in which when a user comes back to this form, the radio button group is disabled at that point? Thanks, Ryan |

Actually, I removed the radio buttons and updated the form to use check boxes instead. Then I can use a question event to uncheck one box if another box is checked. It's a similar idea to using the radio buttons, and it works. |
