I created successfully a combo box filter to equal:

SELECT Product as SearchOption, ProductID as SearchOptionValue FROM vw_xxx
    Group by Product, ProductId

But it does not filter the data from vw_xxx when a product is selected.

Am I using the correct syntax?

    Thanks

Hi Collin - Are you using the "Free Form SQL" option? If so, please refer to the user guide for how to utilize the free form query with search fields.

    Thanks,

    Chad

No, I'm not using free form SQL. I'm pulling from a table/view and the search field is reference the same view.

I might have thrown you off originally by saying "filter" when I meant "search field."

Hi. That is strange then... You might consider enabling Debug Mode within the module and so forth. So when you change this are you then clicking "Search"?

    I'm liking that debug mode...

Turns out it was searching on the incorrect value, so the correct statement should be:

SELECT Product as SearchOption, Product as SearchOptionValue FROM vw_xxx
    Group by Product
