Hello Trying to configure the newest version of User Directory with your Dynamic Registration. Right now I can't get the custom DNN core fields to work in the Directory Templates. They don't appear in the list of available tokens. In an old version I setup this was simple. I would create the field, give the field a name and the token would show up as available for templates. As well when I delete a dynamic question it doesn't delete it from the persons profile or from the list of DNN Core Fields. When I try and edit any value in a persons profile now I get an error message. (attached) "A critical error has occurred. Text property cannot be set. String was not recognized as a valid DateTime. " This occurs on the core fields as well as the custom ones when trying to edit. This is being run in DNN ver6.01 Dynamic User Directory 4.1 Thanks for your time

Hi Scott - Within Dynamic User Directory, can you make sure to go in and select "User Data Feed" and make sure that process is kicking off. Besides this the only other thing to check would be to verify at least one user has data present for that field and also that its marked as public under Admin, User Accounts, Manage Profile Properties.

    Thanks,

    Chad

Thanks for your response. User Data Feed is running. There is a value set for the property. Under the Manage Profile Properties -> Default Visibility is set to all users. In the registration module under the setting for a created text field it will work and replace the token value in the template when I bind the the created field to an existing Core field but when I use the Quick Create Property to create the new core field and then bind to the newly created one that is where it doesnt pick up the token value. As well I deleted all of the new fields I created yesterday and cleared the caches for them and they are removed from the registration sign up process but the DNN core fields are not deleted. Now I have a bunch of testing CORE fields that are not seen in the template that I can't get rid of. I've setup a few sites in DNN4 with these modules and had no issue. This was quicker in DNN4. Can i provide a link to the site I'm working on. I'm under the gun and I've burned alot of time on this already.
    thanks for your time.

Hi - Yes, in DotNetNuke 5 and 6 these profile fields are "soft" deleted. Our module should be referencing these though as long as you are on the most recent version. What version of DNN are you running on and what version of our module appears under Host, Extensions?

If you believe this is a problem within our modules please open a support ticket and provide us with temporary host rights to the website and we should be able to check it out quicker.

    Thanks!

    Chad
