I am reviewing various payment options and noticed that PayPal offers the option for "Customers pay without ever leaving your website" (Advanced and Pro accounts). Is there an option to utilize this functionality with Dynamic Registration? So far, all that I have found refers to redirecting the user to the PayPal site.
Best, Chris

Hi Chris - At this time Dynamic Registration only supports PayPal and does not supports PayPal Payments Pro which offers the feature you mentioned. Actually I believe when you use that feature you are still required to offer both options for the user (either choose between paying on the site or redirecting over to PayPal). We do offer PayFlowPro with Dynamic Registration which is another payment gateway offered through PayPal and this gateway does allow you to stay on the website without the redirection so that might be another route to go. Thanks! -Chad

Hi Chad,
Ah, I didn't realize that PayFlow Pro would allow for payments without leaving the site so that should essentially do what I need. Two follow up questions, 1) It looks like PayFlow Advanced includes the option "Customers pay without ever leaving your website". Will that type of account also work with this module? 2) Will recurring payments work using PayFlow Pro/Advanced and accepting payments directly on the site?
Here is the PayFlow features comparison for reference: https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/compare-business-products
Thanks! Chris

Hi Chris - As far as I know our integration supports PayFlowPro / Advanced. I do know that we have setup recurring payments for several clients and its basically based on the variables you pass over to PayFlowPro which can be setup pretty dynamic within our module. Just to confirm - Yes, with PayFlowPro the user never leaves the website and the payment is treated as a required validation before the form completion events fire etc... So when enabled if the purchased failed the user would be notified why (such as invalid expire date or invalid CC number) just like they would if they didn't have first name as required etc... Thanks, Chad

After further review, I have found that I would need to become a merchant before using PayFlow, which I am trying to avoid. Are there any plans to add support for PayPal Payments Standard/Advanced/Pro? If so, that would be great! |
