Update user account not working

    I'm working in DNN 6.2 with DR 4.20.20 (I upgraded both of them last night hoping that this issue would be resolved). 

    Some of the members that I have on the site will not allow me to update their roles. I need to extend the expiry date; however, it won't update. In addition, I can't delete the role. 

    It is not happening on all of the members. It is happening on members who have been with us for a long time. One is since 1973 as their Effective Date. I tried changing the date for the Registered User but I can't go back that far. 

    I'm also attaching a screenshot where you'll see that my login is showing up in the Expiry Date box. 

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Wilmsab,

    Would you please look at 2 accounts that won't update and tell me if they have email addresses in their profiles? Also, are there any profile properties that are blank for these 2?

    The User Name is an email address as is the Display Name. If I click on profile, the email addresses are not on that page. (This shows under Manage User Credentials). 

    Yes, we have a lot of profile properties set up that are blank. (Some may not pertain to the type of membership).

    Here's another thing that I just noticed. If I update the Effective Date in Manage Profiles, It is not updating under manage roles for this user.

    Yes, sorry, I meant to say credentials. So, the user name is the email address and so is the display name. When you look at the credentials, is the email address blank?

    Thanks for checking. I saw a similar case before and the issue turned out to be the email address.

    However, since this is directly related to a DNN function and not Dynamic Registration itself, my suggestion is to post your question at www.dotnetnuke.com. It might be an issue with the userID format or something entirely different.
