Has anyone has experienced with passing in querystring values into a checkbox group?

Right now I have setup a checkbox group with the shortname "interest" and setting it to retrieve values from querystring. The possible values are 1,2, and 3

When I set the querystring to ?interest=1 it works okay and checks the right box. But if I set it to ?interest=1,2 nothing gets checked off.

    Hello,

Instead of passing Checkbox selections via the URL using Querystrings, why dont' you store the Checkbox selections into a table on the previous page and pass the UNIQUE ID or PRIMARY KEY associated with the record just inserted via Querystring.

You can then use a SQL Default value to bind your Checkbox values from the database table to your Checkbox control.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

Thanks for the quick reply Ryan!

I'm using the latest version of Dynamic Forms and unfortunately I think the option to default to "SQL Driven" value does not exists for Radiobuttons and Checkbox Groups. (It only exists for Textbox type fields?)

    Hello,

Dynamic Forms does allow you to use "SQL Driven Options", my mistake labeling it "SQL Default value". Use SQL Driven option to provide SQL and Dynamically pull in information from the database. Typically you can use SQL to tie into the UserProfile and ProfilePropertyDefinition table to determine the values stored in a User's Profile field.

Try enabling debug mode and see if there are any issues with the DNN Profile field value coming in.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
