Image Question Not Working

    I am on DNN 6.2.6 and DR 4.20.20

    I can not get the Image question to work. I am wanting the user to be able to select a local file and a thumbnail of that file display. I have tried every variation of the settings to get this to work.


    This setup causes the error:
    A critical error has occurred.Invalid postback or callback argument. Event validation is enabled using in configuration or <%@ Page EnableEventValidation="true" %> in a page. For security purposes, this feature verifies that arguments to postback or callback events originate from the server control that originally rendered them. If the data is valid and expected, use the ClientScriptManager.RegisterForEventValidation method in order to register the postback or callback data for validation.

    If I change "Image Preview Type" to "Link Button" I get a sigle link "Upload New File". I click that and I get a Browse HTML button and a Preview link. If I click Browse and select an image file I only get the path to that file in the text box. If I click Preview the whole thing goes back to just displaying "Upload new File" link, no message and no preview.

    I have tried other options to no no avail. I have tried enabling and disabling Ajax on the module with no success.

    Please Help.

    Hi Rutledge,

    Can you tell me what settings you have set within the web.config for the "EventValidation"? Can you tell me if this is set to "True" or "False". I believe this was previously set with "False" and now the latest version in DNN has been set to "True" and needs to be set to False.
