I'm using Dynamic Registration 5.0 and I have it set up so that users are forced to change their password when the login.  When they login they are directed to a My Account page where I have another instance of DR setup so that they can update their profile, as well as their password.  When I try to update the password, I'm getting the following error in the Event Log and the password is not updating. Any thoughts on this?  TIA

    Hi Josh -

Are you also using Dynamic Login?

Do you get the same error if you navigate to the page and attempt to change the password?

    Thanks,

    Chad

    Hi Josh,

Ok... Umm, if you create a new form instance and use the "Setup Wizard" and then just create the standard 5 fields that are defaulted in the setup wizard... Do you have problems on that module instance?

Also - Do you have any specific changes in the web.config file related to the password settings?

    Thanks,

    Chad

    Hi Chad,

I did what you suggested and It let me update the password.  After the page posted back after clicking the Update Registration button, I immediately got a message that I'm not authorized to view this page. I've attached a screenshot.  It looks as though I'm still logged in though.

I haven't done any updates to the web.config regarding password settings.

I've found a work around for the issue.  I had to delete the module instance and recreate the form/fields. When I initially setup the module, I exported from another instance of DR and imported to a new instance so I wouldn't have to recreate the fields. I think something went wrong there, not sure what, but deleting the module instance that I was having issues with and recreating it fixed the issue.
